Layer System and Line Types

- Layers in this template are organized from X01 to X09, with print widths increasing progressively.

- Layers with the same prefix (e.g., X01 and X01 VEGETATION) print the same, but naming them based on content allows for more meaningful organization within your drawing.

X01 can be used for furniture, people, and other secondary elements.

X05 is ideal for poche in plans and sections.

Some layers, like VIEWPORT, are set to not print. These are useful for hatch boundaries or for hidden reference geometry, such as invisible snap or scale guides for doors and windows.

Matching Properties

Use the "MatchProperties" command in Rhino to quickly match line types, print widths, hatches, and other attributes from existing lines or hatches.

Printing

The line width scale needs to be adjusted based on the drawing scale during printing.

- For 1/8” = 1’-0” drawings, use a line width scale of 1.

- For 1/4” = 1’-0” drawings, use a line width scale of 2.

- For 1/2” = 1’-0” drawings, use a line width scale of 4.
